Bachelor Degree in Bible with a Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies

Prepare yourself to be able to plant a Christ-centered church wherever the Lord calls you to go!

This minor provides a flexible, breadth-oriented program of study that integrates biblical principles with multiple academic disciplines. Its structure is especially welcoming to transfer students, who may use a variety of previously-earned credits (with advisor approval) to fulfill specific requirements. The Interdisciplinary Studies Minor can be combined with another minor, such as Pastoral Theology or Missions, to broaden a student’s ministry preparation.

Your Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies Will Teach You

  • A practical knowledge of the pastoral duties and ministries of the local church.
  • A practical knowledge of the Great Commission as an evangelistic and disciple-making command from Christ.
  • How to effectively communicate biblical truth in preach and/or teaching settings.
  • Be able to understand and properly minister in a different culture.
  • Have an understanding of how to plant a church whether it is stateside or in a different country.
