Two major philosophical issues became the focal point of discussion about the future of Free Will Baptists. One was the training of ministerial students and the other was the training of teachers for Christian Day Schools.  This gave rise to talk about beginning a new college that would offer Free Will Baptists a philosophy of ministry that reflected these concerns.
