Accreditation Self-Study Submitted

baer-marcum-self-study-picPresident Jim Marcum is happy to announce another monumental step toward accreditation.

On Monday, October 24th, Academic Dean Dr. Danny Baer submitted our Self-Study which is a major hurdle towards gaining Candidate Status with the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).  TRACS (www.tracs.org) is a National Accrediting Agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

During the week of November 28th, a TRACS Visiting Evaluation Team, including a representative from TRACS and 5 peer reviewers from other TRACS schools, will visit our campus.
In April, President Marcum and Dr. Baer will appear before the TRACS Commission during their April meeting. If all goes well, Candidate Status with TRACS will be granted at that meeting. Once we receive Candidate Status we will have five years to bring our college to the level to earn Accreditation.
Thank you for your ongoing support with your prayers and donations during these important days.
