2004 Lighting of the Campus

No Room For Him, our 2004 Lighting of the Campus Presentation was attended by a combined audience of over 550 for our Friday and Saturday performances.

On Friday, December 3, guests attended our sold out dinner program offered for a $10 admission charge and on Saturday, December 4, supporters and the public attended free of charge.

Our production was written and produced in house utilizing the talents and abilities of students and staff to re-tell the most wonderful event of our history—that of the birth, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This drama focused on the reception of our Lord by the Innkeeper and his wife and the impact they had on their own son growing up under their influence.

The meal on Friday, catered by our Food Services Director Mike Morris and staff included a choice of prime rib or baked chicken, seasoned red potatoes, green beans wrapped in bacon, and assorted pies and cakes for dessert. The drama incorporated a clear presentation of the gospel and was accompanied by heart stirring music selected by our Music Director, Mark Going and presented by our Sounds of Praise Ensemble, Sounds of Victory Choir, Adoration Trio and Promotion Director, Josh Baer.

Our prayer remains that all that was said and done would glorify Him who is worthy of our praise. From the staff and students here at Southeastern, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a hope that there will always be room for Him in the hearts and lives of us all!
