NOTES:
    Students with accounts 45 days in arrears may not be allowed to attend class.The spouse of a full time married student may attend classes for one half of the tuition cost.
    This is not an exhaustive list of fees and may change as needed.

TERMS:
A 12-month payment plan can also be pre-arranged with the business office under special circumstances. Please contact the Business Manager prior to registration if interested in this option.

Terms

All fees, plus one quarter of the combined tuition, room and board are due upon registration with the balance due in three equal installments due Oct. 1, Nov. 1, and Dec. 1 for the fall semester and Feb. 1, Mar. 1, and Apr. 1 for the spring semester.

The college offers credit hours in three separate terms during the year. Calendar dates for these terms are included in the calendar section of this web site. The terms are fall semester, spring semester and summer school (offered as needed).

Books

Students will be required to obtain the textbooks needed in the various courses. Textbooks may be purchased in the college bookstore. Library copies are for reference in the library and will not be permitted to serve students as textbooks for the course. Textbook payments will not be included in the down payment amount. Textbooks must be paid for in full at the time of purchase from the college bookstore No textbooks will be added to the students' accounts.

Refunds

Any student who withdraws or is asked to leave the college will owe one half of the tuition for the remainder of the semester and will owe for his room and board through the school month in which he leaves. In the event that a class has not been started, a full tuition refund will be given for that class only, along with a full textbook refund. Any students who have paid more than the amounts indicated above shall be refunded his over-payment. No other refunds will be made.

Refund Policy For DVA Students

The following refund policy will be applicable to persons enrolled under the provisions of Title 38, U.S. Code as amended: The amount charged to the persons for tuition, fees, and other charges for a portion of the course will not exceed the approximate pro rata portion of the tuition, fees, and other charges that the length of the completed portion of the course bears to its total length.

Scholarships

Academic Scholarships

Valedictorian Scholarship:

This will pay $500 per semester for the first two (2) years. The student must be a dorm student taking at least 14 hours, must maintain a "C" average for each semester completed. The student must have had a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in high school.

Salutatorian Scholarship:

This scholarship will pay $250 per semester for the first two (2) years. The student must be a dorm student taking at least 14 hours and, must maintain a "C" average for each semester completed. The student must have had a minimum of 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in high school.

Non Academic Scholarships

General Scholarship

Awarded to students as funded who maintains a "C" average or better, who have a financial need, who demonstrate a high level of dedication to their studies and Christian service.

Children of Full-time Christian Workers

A full-time Christian worker is defined as follows: Pastor, Associate Pastor, Evangelist, Missionary, and full time Christian Day School teacher (Grades 1-12), who is head of household, whose major source of income is from church or churches served. The scholarship will pay $550 per semester for the first four (4) years. The student must be a dorm student taking at least 14 hours, and must maintain a "C" average for each semester completed.

Most Outstanding Student Scholarship

This scholarship will pay $500 per semester for two (2) years. The student must be a dorm student taking at least 14 hours and must maintain a "C" average for each semester completed. The student is eligible for two consecutive years after high school graduation.

College Ensemble

This scholarship pays up to 15 to 17 hours tuition for two semesters. Each member will be required to travel for the college for one calendar year. Requirements and tuition coverage are explained at the necessary audition held on campus as directed by the Music Chairman.

Southeastern Association of Church Schools

The purpose of the Southeastern Association of Church Schools is to promote the cause of Christian education among Free Will Baptist church schools. The Southeastern Association of Church Schools Scholarship was established to aid students preparing to teach in Free Will Baptist Christian Day Schools. These scholarships are determined by the Executive Committee of the Southeastern Association of Church Schools upon the recommendation of the college administration. Any teacher education student is eligible for these scholarships.

Kimberly Mischa Bevan Memorial Scholarship:

Monies from this fund will go to needy students who, like Mischa, are committed to serving the Lord in full-time Christian work. The "Mischa Bevan Story" along with a complete information packet is available upon request.

This scholarship will be awarded to students committed to full-time, home or foreign mission service.

Ralph L. Detillian Scholarship

This scholarship will be available only to students enrolled exclusively in our External Studies Program. Award of this scholarship will be based on merit and need. Students considered for this scholarship must maintain a "C" average or better.

Loan Program

Danny Howell Memorial Loan Program

This loan is available only to married students showing financial need. A married student must take at least six (6) hours and maintain a "C" average to qualify. Available funding for this loan is subject to restrictions. Funding can be verified by the Business Office.
